Well as I wander from room to room in my house planning what I will do in my sequestered state, I started into a deep dive into my collection.  I picked out a few of my favorite things to photo, sort, read the back etc etc.  I love it when people show there stuff (after all this is a collecting site ) So here are a few items I like, some cheaper, some rare but all so cool..................


I love these games as an early gamer, I actually did not play the Remington Boot Hill, I played the 1st Edition Boxset but the cover art coolness factor trumps nostalgia in this case
Of course my original copies of these are long gone, I replaced them with these SW versions as soon as I could find copies in when I started collecting as an adult.
The Top Secret SI Boxset was very difficult to get in the shrink, it was on my want list for years but finally a copy came up on auction on eBay and I won it !!
The Boot Hill set was purchased from a fellow Acaeum Member, these are so hard to find in shrink, very rare item.


Here is a close up of the boxset, The art just bleeds the old western feel, the grains of the timber, the dark and mysterious cowboy, so awesome.  The cover art is more awesome than the game itself to be honest LOL, I love Boot Hill, characters are so fragile.

The 2nd edition boxset are virtually identical to the 1st edition boxset rules, new cover art and probably a few typos were fixed but that is about it.  I included a picture of the 1st edition boxset just to compare.  It is nice and brings back many fond memories of soot outs and player death.

I was fumbling through my old Tunnels & Trolls collection when I came across this:



I thought to myself, crap I did it again, bought two of the same item again.  I was a bit annoyed at my forgetfulness  when I noticed that the set on the left was actually mailed to Tim Kask (original Dragon Editor for those of you just starting out).  I open Tim's copy only to find out it was actually Nomad Gods and not White Bear. Then I remembered I had bought this at the Gencon auction a few years back (thanks for letting me win Bill) and it was the original copy that Chaosium sent to Tim to review.  Well I guess Tim never got around to reviewing it because it was still completely unpunched and never even paged through.

The other copy in the white mailer is actually sealed and I could see that is an actual copy of White Bear

You guys should pile on.

Nothing super rare, but all favorites.  Mostly because I played them with friends as a kid.  Kinda like you start collecting with your fan favorites and spiral out of control later.  The last I actually snagged from a Collector's Trove auction, owned by Leason. In and of itself, not a huge deal, but it is my favorite book, so it was too cool to have a three-way crossover item (Book, game, TSR persona intersection).

It took me forever to find a good copy of Twilight: 2013, which is very counter intuitive.  I think there is a 2.2 boxed set out there somewhere but I called it good enough with the ones that I have.  Weird how availability works.  I had to stop snagging TS stuff because I had like 3 sets of boxes.  Never got the original printing though =/

Very cool to see these things. You folks here have the best and most rarest collections of RPG stuff in the world. You have been collecting in some cases, most of your lives (or decades at least). Maybe a thread like this should be pinned and people take turn posting their collections, or favorite items.
