What's the scoop on this T1-4 hardcover reprint?

Nothing mentioned on the Acaeum module index,  so I assume this is some kind of bootleg similar to "the lost handbook" .

Also,  the seller is the infamous Shewolf. Was there any resolution in that saga?

Nevermind the shewolf question - I read up on the other thread more relevant to that topic.

Still curious about the hardback T1-4, however.

This and many other D&D/AD&D products are available from DriveThruRPG.  In fact, many are on sale right now at decent prices.

Because of this, I sold my old, VG condition Rules Cyclopedia for $65 or so because I knew I could pick up a brand new re-print for half that.  I know, I know, it's not something a true collector of vintage items would do, but it made cents and sense to me.   8)

Thanks, that explains it!  Are these print on demand? Are the copies of good quality?

Also note that the hardback is not available for T1-4 on DriveThruRPG - perhaps it is currently out of stock?

They are good enough that people are re-selling them and making good money (or unethical money depending on your point of view).   :?

These are POD.  I have not ordered any of these, but I think I remember some people saying that the print quality varied.  Some people were completely happy and someone else found the type smudged in places.  YMMV.

Yes, the listings are shady for not mentioning the origin, but in defense of these listings, it does say "reprint" and it does look like the ones being sold are also not currently available on DriveThruRPG. Now that I know the origin, I personally would rather wait to see them rerun hardbacks than pay 2x for a reprint.
