Anyone else noticing that Oriental Adventure Manual prices on Ebay have shot up like 500% in the past few weeks for some reason?

Any thoughts?

I was reading the linked story and saw this...

So I followed along a bit more and watched 30+ minutes of the first video.  Don't be fooled by this trash.  There is a reason why the comments are turned off, they have fewer than 600 subscribers and less than 6,600 views.  

For 38 minutes I was watching and waiting for something enlightening.  
-> No Asians in the credits,
-> Triggered for using the word 'mystical' instead of 'magical'.  
-> Issues with 'oriental'  usage
-> Fetishization and exploitation of the orient.  (It is fantasy bozos)
-> Didn't know who 'Zeb' Cook was (almost turned off video at that point)
-> Hate comeliness stat ( half of people they know would run away from game because of that. What?)
-> Took issue with rules for exchange rates because can't have foreigners ripping off white people.  ( ugh that was too much.  Sorry stopped watching there)

They have no less than 10 parts of this drivel with the average episode length around 1 hour and 45 minutes.  I swear they are soothed by the sound of their own voices.  

Anyone taking this seriously needs to pull their head out of the Kool-Aid pitcher before they drown.

Boy, I hope that's just clickbait—a story for attention. I remember the xtianist brigade back in the day trying to remove the books from the library.

Reminds me of something: WotC talks a lot, but doesn't appear to stand by it.

Getting back on the OA thing, I do notice prices for 1st ed. in general seem to be, well, up. What causes those prices to rise? I'm not just asking about 1st print stuff, which I get, but stuff across the board.

I'm probably just complaining and it's not much justified. But it does come back to thank goodness for PDFs.

Makes sense. Though I've seen a steady incline long before 2020.
