Part of my childhood on account of living on an army base in foreign countries most of my childhood, watching movies at the weekends in tents laid on by the military, and not having televisions in those days. A lot of Hollywood films, and no Star Trek of sitcoms.

RIP another iconic American singer.


This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I think she was born in the UK but was raised in Australia.

Yes. She was Australian. Born in the UK and moved to Australia when she was six. Much of her later life she lived in the US, but always maintained her Australian connections. She is an icon here in Australia, both for her art and philanthropy.

Xanadu was the first movie I saw in a cinema and I was star struck with Olivia Newton-John in my childhood. Have to see that again. A fantasy, roller skating musical love story  :D
