LOL, good one Aia. I'm trying to figure out what brand and model. If I were to name it, I'd name it Desiree, after my ex. Closest I can get, since I don't have a balrog or succubus.

I'm pretty sure my neighbor in high school had that exact figure.  I remember the wings being a flat circle, and detachable, so it was easy to lie them flat in the box.  The only useful tidbit I could add is that being Florida in the early 1980's, it was probably not an exotic manufacturer, but rather one of the big names.

Thanks, Foul, I was pretty sure it was from a larger producer. My guess is Ral Partha; the details are similar to a lot of their line. I intended to gift it to someone, but I want to make sure I either have another one or I can get it from Mirliton or another figurine site, or 3D print it. I don't have a scanner so I can't scan it for 3D later.

Well slap me with a dead carp and call me Sally.
That set has two different idols; I noticed it years ago. I believe the different one was in the U.K. version. IIRC the idol is much shorter.
Thanks, Elegia, now I can give her the painted one!

Frank---

Do you have the Fantastic Worlds of Grenadier books by Terrence Gunn, by chance?  Execellent reference works for Grenadier Models minis.

Allan.

I don't think so, Allan, but I have cartloads of stuff I still haven't gone through and sorted into the KEEP and LIQUIDATE piles. I'll keep an eye out for it, thanks!

The "other" idol that can be found with the boxed set is what I remembered: much shorter, and surrounded by skulls. I tried for a while to get it separately, but the few I found were ridiculously priced.

I participated in both Kickstarters. The Grenadier book is awesome.
