I was wondering what your opinion on which of the Facebook selling groups are the best?
Or maybe as a buyer, which ones you prefer?

I've been using RPG Auctions for a number of years but am currently close to a suspension so am looking for other groups.

eBay really is the best place to sell, if you want to have the least controversy and best selling opportunities, but it's understandable that some people don't like to use it.  Facebook groups just don't have the same exposure, and they aren't good for selling/auctions, as Facebook isn't really designed well for it.

There aren't a lot of options outside of RPG Auctions.  Here are some that I'm aware of:

Auction or straight sale:

RPG Market is perhaps the best one outside of RPG Auctions.  They only have about 1/4 the members, though.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/Acaeum

The Facebook Acaeum group is rarely used for selling items, so it might not be the best place to try to sell.

Straight sale or trade only:

There are other groups, but they don't have a lot of members.

I started my own FB auction page so I can list "nonstandard" items from collections and not have to worry about tap dancing around whatever rules are in place at the groups I post on (North Texas RPG Auction page). After about a year Im up to 634 members but I've only run a couple of auctions on it this year, I need to get back to an auction every other week which helped grow the group. While it's true FB groups don't get the attention Ebay does, sales are quicker and easier and the middle man doesn't take a cut of the final profit. Also, as long as you have the hobbies big names on your page you are probably going to get very close to what it would get on Ebay anyway.

Are these groups working on dice or are there different FB groups for dice?

Thanks.  I use Ebay, Facebook groups and local buy/sell (kijiji) but was mainly interested in alternate FB groups.  It's the tap dancing with the rules that is getting me.  My last violation was I posted a price drop as a comment but it wasn't in a conversational tone, etc.

Wow, that's ridiculous.

I despise eBay, but it is definitely the place with the most exposure.
