I think that is basically good advice. If you list them separately, then people who have one or two already and are keen to build a set will bid on individual auctions. And people who want all four will, well, bid on all of them. :)

You could list them as buy-it-now on ebay if you are worried that you will not get a good price at auction. Personally, I (mostly) like the auction format as its all done quite quickly, and over time you usually get good prices. But if you are more patient (than me!) you could list them as buy-it-now at a price you would be happy to get, with a "make offer" option, and see what offers you get. The fees are a wee bit higher I think, but you have peace of mind. Also, the bulk of the roleplaying auction activity is in the US (i guess, maybe 80% or more), so make sure listings are set for international visibility. Posting overseas is really easy as the Post Office /Parcelforce have a bunch of insured options. But make sure you charge for that (off the top of my head, a tracked light package to the US, insured for £500 is going to be £25+).

We've gotten some of these to grade at CGC. In fact, someone just sent in R1 & R2 on Thursday. Maybe grade them and you might get more money.  :D

I want to thank you all so much for your messages and advice. What a great community.

I’m going to use eBay over the summer and get familiar with how it works then when I have learned the ropes I will list the modules as 4 separate auctions in the autumn (fall) all at the same time for 10 days, starting on a Friday afternoon and ending on a Monday. Using a US-friendly time zone (so late UK time!)

I’m not sure I can start them at 0.99 but if I get braver I’ll try! My current thinking is 300 each as a start point just to give myself a safety net.

The 4 modules, R1, R2, R3 and R4 will go up on eBay late on 7th November as four separate auctions. Thank you for your kind advice.
