Hi All,

Recently picked up something on the cheap (that Planescape Hellbound box) but the contents smell too much on the 'musty' side.

From looking around looks like chucking the books with Silica gel & a bag might be the best way to have a go at getting the moisture out of them?

Am happy to try bicarb soda trick (or charcoal I guess...) but just wondering if theres something off-the-shelf that will be a little easier/better.

I've not dealt with this before (extremely luckily) so any tips/thought appreciated

also, maybe my nose is off and the smell is old cigarette smoke, but I dont think so. Its less fragrant and more just weird.

If it's cigarette smoke you could try putting the item and baking soda in a tote and close the lid for awhile. That may help some.

Also out in the sunshine on a breezy day might help as well
