I've noticed a few people out in the wilds, who seem to be selling D&D Classics reprints of D&D products.
Those things are not exactly "fake". And if people are done with them, it's fine for them to sell them on, to recover some or all of their investment. But some folks seem to not reveal that they are selling a
PoD reprint and think a few folks are so excited at seeing old stuff at a "lower than normal price" that they snap up a used version of something they could be getting brand new from DMs Guild or DriveThru for whatever they are charging.
A lot of the website for The Acaeum is based around people telling the difference between 1st printings and 2nd printings of old products. But I don't see anything about Print on Demand reprints on The Acaeum. I know that isn't "what The Acaeum is about," but I think it might be worth having something up on the main website to raise awareness of the existence of
PoD reprints and give people some things they can look for or questions they can ask the seller.
