Hey, so... a funny thing happened while trying to track artists. There's this piece, it's one of a set of nine cards.
https://italiankarsus.github.io/SPELLFI ... CS/301.jpgI googled Noble Knight for "Spellfire card proofs", and came up with this.
Spellfire 4th Edition #305 "Amber Princess" - 8" x 11" Original Painting - Original Art - Doug Shuler - Noble Knight GamesThis piece was claimed as Doug Shuler's. I haven't been able to identify the artist for those pieces, I was in seventh heaven when I finally thought I had proof it was Douglas Shuler. However, when I e-mailed him as a follow-up to see if he may have known anything else, he told me he's a watercolors guy, not a penciler, and the piece's obviously done with pencil, plus he's never done any Spellfire art.
I contacted Noble Knight, imagining maybe the OG seller may have known something I didn't. They can't help me, because that was back in '07, they don't keep records that long.
Anyway, another one of my misadventures tracking down the artwork of Spellfire and the TCGs. I was wondering, does anyone know a way I can find the original seller of the piece, and maybe figure out how they came to believe it was a Doug Shuler? This one's really rustling my jimmies.
