Anyone recognize the initial or logo on this RPGA letter-head document? Found amongst some TSR library materials. It is so perfect that it seems printed on the document. Not a big deal but it is odd enough that I am curious. Ring any bells Frank (ExTSR)?

Cheers,
Curt

Jeff Dee often uses a single D to sign his work.

Can't remember if Diesel ever did, too(?).

Someone who knows artists better (probably almost everyone here) will tell you shortly.

Jeff Dee and Diesel are probably the most likely, but Darlene is another possibility.

Indeed, I thought about Darlene, Diesel and Jeff but their initials don't seem to match, though Darlene's on some pieces was close-ish.

Does seem familiar.

Dave Trampier sometimes would sign with a D, but not like that.

It doesn't look like Diesel Laforce, Jeff Dee, or Darlene to me either. However, it sort of looks like a DL so maybe it is Laforce?

There was also Dennis Kauth, who worked in the miniautes Dept but I've only seen him sign as DTK.

Dave Sutherland would do DCS or DCS III.

The rounding of that "D" defintely looks like Diesel to me.  Maybe he was just goofing around and changed it up a bit?  It seems pretty unique.

It's probably also worth noting. after doing some digging, his art signature is not consistent, even in the Deities & Demigods:

I also randomly came across this in a later 90's Dragon Magazine from an editor, Dave Gross.
