I would have quite a different list from my experience of running all the Gygax ones and the slavers.
When I ran the giants and drow I preferred
G2 and
D1. In particular I found
D3 the weakest of the lot and used little of the material.
For the slavers I found A1 rather unconvincing (it was very clearly a linear tournament) whereas the above ground part of A2 was great.
As a one shot I found Tomb of Horrors to be fantastic. One of our most memorable adventures.
In contrast I found
T1 to be pointlessly deadly - far more deadly than ToH.
S4 was good... ...if you replace half the encounters with those from the original! What I didn't realise reading it through was that all the encounters on the lower level are time wasters that you're supposed to avoid, which I liked.
I agree WG4 is weaker - it reads for the most part like it was written in a hurry whilst he was short of inspiration. Some great bits, but not the 1001 different words for purple as though that would impress players.
