Hi All,

Finally took the chance to purchase the back issues of 'Fight On!' from Lulu and a few of the 'First Edition Fantasy' items.

All items arrived on Friday.

'Fight On!' mags looked good and i can't wait to completely read through.

Of the 4 FEF items I received, 3 had printing problems.

- 1 had a copy of another module I had purchased, printed in the middle.

- 1 (which was a supplement of only 40 pages) had an additional copy of Fight On! #4 printed throughout (another 122 pages)

- 1 had a completely unrelated item printed through it.- being "The Low_Carbon Buildings Standard 3010, Application Example.pdf" complete with pie charts and housing schematics

Although it's great having additional copies of the module and FO#4, I'd prefer them not to be in the middle of something i don't have a properly printed copy of. I suppose it's also great to be able to plan any of my future US homes to be 'Carbon Neutral' too. :lol:

I've lodged details with Lulu (scary when they actually have drop downs for my specific problem).

I really just want what I paid for without it now costing me any more for postage etc.

Has anyone else had the same problems, and how did you go when telling Lulu about them?

Copies of other publications within a publication ... sounds like some ultra rare print run... better hold on to it... could be worth big $$$ one day

Yeah, I had a similar issue. I contacted them via their web interface, and they sent out a replacement free of charge with a fast shipping option (even though I had chosen media mail for my original shipping option).

They handled the problem very well, IMO.

Unfortunately not. I suspect the vast majority of POD items from Lulu are what you would be able to describe as unique. I ordered 5 copies of a DF fan module and 5 copies each of two other publications (it cuts down on international postage), and all but two were wrongly printed. What's more, the printing errors were all different, and their CS took more than 20 days to issue a refund. They wouldn't re-ship for free at the time, refused point blank to quality check the stuff if I did pay for a second shipment, and basicly said they didn't give a damn.

I never bought from them again. Fight On! seems to be a decent publication from the early issues I read, but they need to find a reputable publisher or a reputable PDF reseller to deal with if they want this reader to continue buying. Hopefully they'll move to RPGNow so I can catch up with my collection.

From what I've read, this seems to be the difference between being a non-US citizen and a US-citizen. If you live in the States you get much better customer service.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Maybe problems arise when you order more than one thing at a time, or ask for multiple copies? Maybe they get confused and think you want them all bound into the same book? Or maybe when you buy a lot they throw in freebies and it's a nice surprise interleaved throughout your module?

Anyone experienced binding with the pages squint? Or incorrect cutting so the pages all sit too low and you get no page numbers?

As long as you eventually get your correct items, rip off the outsides of the middle-printed-items and you've got free "normally-printed" stuff. Sucks that you have to wait for what you originally wanted, though.

With sympathy to Addermcone and those who've had difficulties, I've ordered multiple copies of multiple products, multiple times, internationally, and had no issues at all... (knocking wood as I type this)...

I hope & trust you're taken care of A... please let us know.
