Moot for past releases, but when they do the new ones each year is the only way to get them direct to spend $1000 on True Dungeon tokens? If there is a different way it isn't very obvious.

I haven't been tracking it, but it was a good price and I find Necromancer Games material worth collecting.

Yes, I've asked the same in the past and been told that is the only way to get them. As with D&D, there are hardcore players and collectors that spend thousands on tokens each year. If you look at the Ebay auctions some tokens sell for several hundred dollars each and I read somewhere that a "golden ticket" token sells for around $1000 by itself.

I've been told about 100 copies are produced each year.

Too bad that the seller uses the Global Shipping Robbery Program. It's insane to use such a service that makes money on seller's and buyer's backs.
$16.57 for import charges while there is absolutely no import charge to France for this product :evil:

If you read the pages, it doesn't sound like an RPG or module but a turn based competitive empire building game.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's not an RPG but I can't really tell what it is. In particular I can't tell if it's a complete game or not - based on the pages shown I suspect that either there are other components (like a map) or that it is a rulebook for a play-by-mail game.

I've seen this before.. I thought I actually had it (and I may.. if its not a rpg I don't even bother listing it in my collection).. yes it reads as a turn based space battle game not a rpg.. it might have been this one? I would have done some google searches on it and prob came to the same conclusion..

I was just reading some game designer talking about Ars Magica. Never played it but this looks like a big fairly cheap lot. (23 books)
