More so I hate being treated like an idiot
Check this latest gem in the classified
viewtopic.php?t=10407
50+ minis all original worth over $1000 (according to the seller) he would be lucky to $40 - $50 is my guess. I despise when idiots like this fool trying to dupe people on our board into buying some "rare" crap in order to finance his/her trip overseas.
How about a picture?
How about anything?
One post, one lie about the value, one lie about the origin, no details.
Oh well, it is entertaining anyway
PS One more week to Gencon Yah!!!
Games can get you through times of no money but money can not get you through times of no games!!

Would it matter if they were all original Games Workshop / Citadel figures? I hear some of those go for insane amounts of money, but I don't collect miniatures and don't pay attention to them.
Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.

Guy is either supremely ignorant, or a troll. I'd go with the former until such times as he opens his mouth.
This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I'm with Ian on this one - it's
possible
that this is just someone who doesn't really understand what he has, and no malice is intended. I'm not saying that's even likely, but just that we should probably consider it.
Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

well frankly, if blackmoor has looked into it, i would much more respect his opinion on figurines than most other people.
simple as that.

Overvaluing items is always annoying. People think I don't realize that I can get their "collector's item vintage!"
