Take a look at my medieval game room with a custom made gaming table and chairs. I attempted to make every detail of the room authentic 13th century in the style of a tavern. You will notice that there isn't anything modern age in the room. There isn't even any modern nails that show in the wood paneling on the walls, ceiling, or floors.

NOTE: If you have the time be sure to scroll to page 6 and 7 of the photographers web site pictures to see the two SECRET levels inside the table. You will see two epic dungeon builds; one dungeon build complete with traps and monsters, and one outdoor terrain build with village, lake, river, and and epic level dracolich.

Wow. What an awesome effort. I can tell you really devoted yourself to that project. Well done.

That is fantastic!

I really like the crockery. The mugs, bowls, plates, and flatware all look very authentic. The chairs, while very cool, look like they may be a bit on the uncomfortable side. If you did it proper I guess there wouldnt be any padding at all though.

Did you make the mugs and such yourself or did you purchase them?

All of the crockery was purchased. I had the wood craftsman that made the mugs rough them up a bit more though.

It's my players that are the lucky ones. One of my kids does play though on occasions.

Very cool. Congratulations on a superb job.

I will never know how it feels to play RPGs with minis, since I prefer not to use them. But, I am truly amazed by what can be achieved by them. It's a whole 'nother ball game.

I love your miniatures collection.

I like the pictures of the table set for dinner best. It makes the table look like a place where friends gather.

I just wonder about the heat. That looks like a section of wood-paneled basement, which probably gets cold!

It's actually a concrete slab home, so there is little temperature difference in the room. I'm glad you like the room. I'm especially glad you liked the medieval feast. It took the photographer about 40 minutes to get the pics for the feast, because four of us had to keep pouring root beer in the cups, so he could try to capture the beer foam in the cups before it dissipated.

That's quite impressive! It looks like you might be a gamer and SCA. When I hit your DF set ups I started wondering where the heck you were storing the stuff. The curtains worked well to maintain the ambiance of an actual medieval room when not gaming with resin and plastic! A great compromise solution. The room also seems to have a dash of minimalism used to great effect. Since most of us here collect "too much" it's hard to pull that off. The boxes and piles of stuff get in the way, lol. Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing.
