Beyond the Black Wall is a 44-page First Edition Game System adventure module that is augmented by Pacesetter's innovative SoloSystemâ„¢. I1 Grave of the Green Flame introduced the SoloSystemâ„¢ and for the first time in solo dungeon play, the player could map the adventure as he progressed. In Beyond the Black Wall the SoloSystemâ„¢ has been expanded to introduce Adventure Points -- a versatile feature that gives players additional in-game options for the first time in solo game play.
Beyond the Black Wall is designed for a single player using a third level character. This adventure can be played several times as there are numerous options during game play. This module is designed for use with the First Edition game system and is OSRICâ„¢ compatible. This module is the second module in the Green Flame solo module series and continues the storyline introduced in I1 Grave of the Green Flame.

Your quest to find the legendary gem, the Green Flame, has brought you deep into goblin-infested woods bordered by impenetrable mountains. Somewhere on the edge of the forest and towering mountains lies the ancient "city beyond the black wall." And inside the city is the Jade Temple and the resting place of the Green Flame!
