Is anyone enjoying the Gygax mag enough to bhave begun collecting issues?

I haven't gotten my hands on one yet but have considered subbing. Of course the Gygax #1 is not available, but still if 8t had enough quality material it'd be worth it.

1 and 2 are available.  They can be had for the reasonably fair price of $95 each on Noble Knight  :roll:  :roll:  :roll: .  I was able to say that without laughing.


It's a good magazine with decent content.  Well worth the cover price.  I have issues 2-5.  I'd like to get a copy of #1, but it's not worth the ridiculous prices people are charging.  It's worth $20 at best to complete your collection.

I had found a copy of #1 about 6-8 months ago and enjoyed reading it.  It was very much in the style of the old Dragon magazines.  For what it's worth, I did sell it to another member either here or on Dragonsfoot for $20.

The magazine covers all sorts of old school rpg's not just D&D.  I have bought it from the beginning and always enjoy reading through it.


Games can get you through times of no money but money can not get you through times of no games!!
