Yo, it's me again, still sifting for stuff that's relevant to the Forgotten Realms. I was looking for what I believe is the last slice of lore that's not available at the moment (ha yeah right) while working on the Starym family for the wiki. Learned that there were a few modules that were distributed as the Adventurer's Guild modules from 1998-2000. Per the Acaeum database, those do get sold, though not usually for an extravagant sum.
Adv Guild
I was wondering if any of the buyers/holders was here and willing to help us with the lore? If not for free, does anyone know how to look for those? I'm not a big auctions guy, I wouldn't even know where to begin looking, but these values look like a bit of scrimping might do. Not couch change, but some of those prices might be... achievable?

The modules I'm currently suspecting have Realmslore are:
-The Fallen Archmage
-At Last, Raven's Bluff
-Dungeon of the Hark
-The Light Fantastic
-The Hand of Justice
-Crown of Salt
-Amongst Fungus
-Valley of the Dragon Oracle (module may differ from TSR Jam version)

EDIT: NOT NEEDED
-Legacy of Venom
-A Funny Thing Happened in the Way to Stag Falls...
-Stag Falls Knights
-The Pyre Down Below

Asking here, because by '98, TSR branding was pretty much done. I think the '99 TSR jam was just because the writers were TSR alumnii, right? Should I have used the TSR section?

We're pretty loose with forum discipline re: which forum a message should go in.  It's all good.

The difficulty with obtaining Adventurer's Guild material is not the values (which are all over the place, but generally low, similar to Strategic Review issues), but the ridiculous rarity of them.  Only a handful or two have sold on eBay in the last decade, certainly.

We had a forum member here who apparently had a near-complete set (Rhea Shelley / rshelley), but I'm pretty sure he sold his collection and got out of RPGs entirely.  He last visited here some ten years ago.  I don't know if his collection was purchased by one person or many, but I'm sure someone here knows more.  Or has the issues you're looking for.

When AG modules turn up these days they sell for high sums, like all truly rare (i.e. 200 original copies of something) TSR items. Rhea iirc had one complete set, and one near complete set.

Well. Some people talked here about making photocopies, I coulda used one of those, but those people haven't logged in for years...

Alright, I guess this one goes in the back burner for now.

A few were up on eBay, now only one is up... just happens to be one I don't really need.

I was wondering if getting one I'm not really after would help, if other collectors would be up for trading that one directly, but it's not looking like an amazing plan. There's no one in rpggeek who wants to trade one of those for another, I'd need to know someone and be smashingly fortunate on top of that.

There's probably a pinned somewhere, but may I ask if there's any other sites besides eBay where I should keep an eye for deals on those? There's Noble Knight, and that's pretty much it, right?
