I have a couple of the 1986 boxed sets. The introductory module states that the following are included:

- 128 page rulebook
- 32 page introduction / adventure book
- 16 page display book
- set of cardboard characters with plastic stands
- pair of 20-sided dice

Neither of my sets has plastic stands and neither have dice. Can someone confirm that these came with the set. And were they 20 sided or 10 sided dice. One of mine has two lots of cardboard cutouts - is this normal or do I have an extra set?

Yes, the set came with the plastic bases and dice. I know mine did when I bought it, still have them too.
