The Djinn is awesome, but the shading on the chest is the best work.

The chest, the coins, the weapons, the gradation from the smoke to the corporeal form of the creature itself...steady hand and a hell of a lot more patience than I could ever invest 8O

That's just amazing, Jeff.  It's the little details that are truly incredible, like the shading on the metal of the chest and each individual coin.  Kudos to Angela for another fantastic job.

Angela's work is always wonderful to ogle, Jeff!  Is she coming down to North TX RPG Con this year?

I find her highlighing on the body of the djinn very interesting---it's like he's almost "hard edged" or "sharp" or something, with the strong emphasis placed onto his ribs, abs, forearms, fingers, and facial bones.  I'd love to hear some more about how and why she painted the figure this way---it seems much harsher, perhaps, which may well be the point, I suppose  :wink:

Thanks for the kudos guys :)   Angela worked hard and that one is doing another for our games table. :wink:

As far as NTRPGCON I will be there but Angela probably not.  She is going to Dallas for ReaperCon In May as a painting instructor (I believe).  

We will both be at Gencon of course with our oldest son.

I can only say one thing about such a talent. If I could paint minis like that, they are not being used at the game table. EVER!

Yeah, thank goodness I can't paint nearly that good, or I'd never use my minis!  8O
