The few words on next year strategy makes me think they will move towards the Vinted logic: buyer copes with fees.
It is likely the guys of ebay accepted it as a better model given the success of that website!

I'm in the UK, I'm finding it ok but a bit tiresome. Private sellers only (which I am). I base my selling prices on sold values, and I'd much rather someone saw that something was available for £50 than £53.60 or whatever. Plus if I sell internationally then I pay an additional charge. Overall fees are lower than they used to be, in some cases much lower, so I can't complain really. And it has definitely worked for Vinted, which has eaten eBay's lunch for private sellers here. (I do not entirely understand why and I have not sold on Vinted (though I might start)).
