Hello, welcome to The Acaeum!
Please take a moment to introduce yourself to our members - we’d love to learn a bit about you and hear more about the fantastic belt buckles you’re looking to sell.
You can introduce yourself here:
Introduce Yourself, Fellow CollectorsThese belt buckles are rare and highly collectible. To maximize their value, it would be best to list them separately as individual auctions with a reasonably low starting price. This approach will help ensure they sell for the best price possible. You will want to provide any details / provenance related to the belt buckles, too.
Once your auctions are live, be sure to advertise them here in our Classifieds section:
ClassifiedsAlternatively, you might consider working with a specialist in rare collectibles - especially for items related to notable people that were associated with TSR and other role-playing game companies. Some members here specialize in selling such items and may be able to assist. They do charge a fee for doing so, but it might be worth it, especially if you have other items you are planning to sell, as well. This also might be a better approach, if these happen to be part of Brian Blume's personal items.
As far as valuations? It's hard to say, since there's not a lot of sales history on these, especially in recent times.
Some rough guesstimates:
Lizardman Logo Belt Buckle $4,000-$6,000
Brass Wizard Logo Belt Buckle $1,000-$1,500
Red Enamel Platinum Wizard Logo Belt Buckle $2,000-$3,000
Red Enamel Platinum RPGA Belt Buckle $3,000-$4,000
If these belt buckles were part of a notable person's collection, the sales prices could be even higher.
