Hi, I'm new to the forums. I'm liquidating my old D&D collection that I've had since the early/mid 80s. To research, I've primarily been using this site for books and the Lost Minis Wiki for figures. I've come across a bit of a challenge, and I'm hoping someone here might be able to advise me. I bought a lot of my figures in an "open-box" lot in late 83 or early 84 (hard to remember) from my local game store. The owner was known to grab boxes off the shelf and open them as needed for his campaigns, so he had quite a few incomplete and loose sets of figures, which he'd sell in bulk (cheap). I haven't played much since those days, and I'm not really a collector, so my knowledge is limited. One of the boxes of figures I have is an incomplete gold box 2006 Specialists (Grenadier) that seems to include a combination of gold box and Dragon Lords versions of the figures, including a Gnome Illusionist with a flail (see pics). Lost Minis Wiki suggest that this figure was unreleased, and I can't seem to find any prior sales or concrete data. I'm beginning to suspect this might be a rare figure.
Any suggestions on how to validate and/or price this figure? Thanks for any help in advance.

FYI
for interested parties that find this post in the future:
I cross-posted on the lostminiswiki subreddit, and have gotten several replies that suggest it's not super rare, just an uncommon variant not documented in any catalogs, inserts or sealed packages. So I guess my dream of retiring to a villa in the Caribbean will remain unfulfilled (for now).

Grenadier figs is my specialty. The only way you’ll retire is if you can locate the ounce of gold grenadier was raffling,or you have original Ray Rubin art.

So the gnome with a flail is "rare"?
If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.
