Picked up issue 13 of Grendier Magazine in a larger lot.

Never heard of it until I found this one.

Anybody have some info.

Curiously there is not a single date reference in the entire thing. I am guessing mid 80s from the style.


And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

wargame magazine I believe, there are 2 issues on UK ebay right now from memory issue 6 & 7 listed last night (all from memory I'm afraid)

I am guessing their is a typo here and you mean The Grenadier Magazine?

It came out from Europa Newsletter and The Paper Soldier and started out in 1978 I think. I went on to 1981 with issue 12 when Game Designers Workshop passed it on to some privateers.

It staggered on around Issue 30-something around 1984 or maybe 85 before folding. I think somebody from Fire & Movement was supposed to be taking it forward from then on but nothing was every heard again. I have a couple of copies in the mid-teen issue range somewhere.

Nice to be able to provide some info for something I DO know something about for once  :wink: miniature historical wargaming being my first entry into the hobby. Not selling that stuff off just yet either - unlike my D&D stuff....

Nope. It is Grendier. I had to look at it a couple times to make sure my eyes were not playing tricks on me.

It was published by Grenadier, though.

Yep, it is Gredadier magazine :oops:

The font used for the title is tight and it appears that the "D" is simply a "D", but the "A" is included.  

Sorry, my bad. I have the book on auction (link through classifieds) and you can see what I mean.
