I've just got a load of spellfire cards - 11 little boxes (1st,2nd and 3rd ed) and a little over 900 loose.

All are in fabulous condition, but I don't know where to get started in sorting them out.

Are any valuable? What should I look for? Should I just bang them out in 1 lot or split them up?

(They cost me nothing in real terms so I'm not that bothered what they sell for - but I don't want to miss out if I've got a goldmine lying there!! 8O )

TSR Tried to put out a CCG after the Magic craze started.

I played the game a few times... it's ok...

It never had a huge following though.

And then again, I'm definitely not an expert on this.   :o

They're little better than kindling collectible-wise, as millions of them were printed and most of them ignored.  The artwork was recycled, and according to one reviewer, the gameplay was little better than War.

I think a review of CCGs in Arcane magazine placed Spellfire as the 3rd worst CCG ever.  The worst being a cardgame that was based on rock/paper/scissors.

Collectors are a crazy lot; maybe someone still collects them.

I always wanted to have the complete set, mostly for all the Ravenloft cards.

Thanks for all the responses - they're all going to go in one lot - I just don't have the interest to go through them all!
